The requirement is to have batch management active just for the Distribution Center. All movements in and out of the DC will require the batch data, but not to be maintained in the plants.
Do I need to activate the batch at plamt level? ThanksLee.
It is usually possible if there is currently no stock, and there was no stock in the previous period, to turn the batch management flag on. This does not provide a batch for movements already made such as delivered to customer.

What i think is if there is any stock in current period then make the stock zero and then activate the batch. What do you think.
